Hunting Deer and Elk on Private Land

Located in Northwestern Colorado

Location: Spring Gulch Ranch is located on the William’s Fork Mountain Range in Hunting Unit #13. Elk and mule deer herds habitat Spring Gulch year-round. The ranch can be located on the Breeze Mountain USGS map with the cabins located in Section 11 of Township 5N, Range 90W of the 6th PM.

Spring Gulch Ranch is completely surrounded by private property, ranges in elevation from 7,200 to 8,000 feet above sea level. The Ranch is a 40-minute drive from Craig, Colorado and about an hour from one of Colorado’s most popular resorts, Steamboat Springs.

Your group will have exclusive hunting rights to 2,400 acres of some of the best private hunting land in Northwest Colorado. For a change of pace, try fishing for rainbow and brook trout in one of our private ponds.

Lodging: A modern cabin is available for your use. The furnished cabin easily accommodates up to six with bunk beds, refrigerator, microwave, electric oven/range, and wood burning stove for heat, hot/cold water, and full bathroom. Groceries and personal care items can be obtained in Craig, Hayden, or Steamboat Springs.
Reservations should be made for groups of 4-6 members and a year in advance to assure accommodations.
